illa Air Bali is awarded with a gold medal on TRI HITA KARANA AWARDS & ACCREDITATION 2019.
Tri Hita Karana (THK) Awards and Accreditation is an initiative base on local philosophy about harmony, which implements at promoting sustainability development to become tools to prevent the impact of tourism development for nature and culture in Bali. The phrase THK originated from the Sanskrit words: tri (three), hita (secure/prosperity), karana (case/reason), therefore, THK means three (things) that give us secure and prosperity.
To be awarded with THK, our resort had to fulfill several competencies, such as:
- Parhyangan (Human to The Devine): provide place of worship, religious ritual programs in the company, maintenance of worship place, effort of preservation and development of religious traditions, etc.
- Pawongan (Human to Human): concerns for people with physical disadvantage and safety & satisfaction of the customers, harmoniour relation with employees, preservation and support of local culture, etc.
- Palemahan (Human to Nature): application of local architecture style, preservation and ecosystem development, management of waste (liquid, solid, gas, hazardous), saving energy and natural resources, etc.
